We have decided to partner with Wild For Salmon to offer wild caught Alaskan and Gulf Seafood to our customers. Wild For Salmon is a husband wife team that calls Bloomsburg, PA home but their love for fishing took them to Alaska where they purchased a fishing boat and started offering this seafood to friends and family back home. Their philosophy is the same as ours, “Why work with a middle man when we can direct market our quality products straight to the consumer?” They only work with small farms that are offering value added products as well. We believe that this will be a strong partnership as we both believe in the quality of our products and the integrity of our businesses.
Their seafood is all wild caught, nothing is farmed and is all harvested sustainably, meaning all commercial fishing regulations are followed to ensure sustainable populations. If a species population is threatened they will refuse to carry those products until it returns to a sustainable size.
If this is received well, we are looking to have seafood available monthly and add more seafood options as we grow.
